Our Community Involvement

Interstate Refrigerant Recovery is involved in many local Household Hazardous Waste Days and Earth Days as well as air-conditioner and electronics turn in events throughout the Northeast.

These are set up in conjunction with the local utility companies and the towns working with organizations such as NYSERDA, NSTAR, Cape Light Compact and others where hundreds of air conditioners and dehumidifiers as well as tens of thousands of pounds of electronics, (i.e. television's computers monitors and VCRs and just about any other type of electronics you can imagine) are collected and recycled in an environmentally conscious way.

We also assist charitable organizations such as Planet Aid in recycling appliances that are improperly dropped off at their clothing drop off boxes and donate regularly to worthy causes like Toys for Tots, police and fire organizations, special Olympics and various food drives.
